What is a business ?
A business is a legally recognized organizational entity designed to provide goods and / or services to consumers or other businesses.
The aim of a business is to make a profit, pay the salaries of its employees and increase the wealth of its owners.
Businesses may take many forms, from a sole proprietorship ( ie one person as owner ), to a partnership ( general or limited liability ) and companies / corporations ( owned by shareholders ).
