Merck has come out with their vaccine against cervical cancer - the human papilloma virus, really, the cause of cervical cancer - which has been the subject of debate.
Word’s on the street now that a certain competitor in the giant pharmaceutical world has come up with their own vaccine, which supposedly shows even better results against HPV strains 16 and 18, which between them cause over 80% of the cases of cervical cancer.
Plus, there is a market for men to get immunised too, especially those with high risk sexual behaviour. Especially so when HPV is a known cause of rectal cancer as well. Read more ..
